i would have loved to of spoken to someone about them (all/any of them as they all looked great) and generally be talked around them. i like classic cars and rallying so these were a treat! i know nothing about them or the kit versions other than i love how they look i did have a good nose about in the afternoon as the engine covers were up. they look really small inside or at least they did through the windows. you probably saw me with my hat, hoodie and chunky shoes with orange laces and thought, oh no the riff raff is here! an unfortunate combination, due to some inaccuracies in the forecast i checked.

whats this about a silverstone classic? is there a web page about the show?
i live in torquay, devon (yes we do have electric down here too!) so the only events i have been to is castle combe action days and the sprints. i also went to the touring cars last year at thruxton. i have never been to silverstone.

do you guys do the rallyday at castle combe? i havent been to that but i am planning on it this year!

i see the 'repsol' stratos (sorry i dont know who owns which) had a camera/gopro on it. i'd love to see the footage if it gets published on the net

Silverstone Classic is on 24 to 26 July and you'll see all types of classic cars racing, its a really good weekend and usually get to do a parade lap in the Stratos.
If you put - Lancia stratos parade lap silverstone classic 2014- into you tube, you'll see some footage from my car (before i painted it in Repsol colours)
there is also some footage from some of the other Stratos

hi Skelly. thanks for not driving over me while i was getting the pics! if you had ran me over i would of had a huge tyre mark on me. they have some really wide rear tyres lol. Great, would love to see what they were like driving round from the car's point of view and hear the onboard sounds too.

str_strat, no problem. i have setup a folder for people like skelly and presumably yourself to download the one/s you want (below). you just have to open a photo on dropbox and press download (its free by the way and you dont need to register, in case you were concerned).

I'm not sure if i will make silverstone or not, but i am now really keen to go to rallyday, even if its just to see the club's cars again it would be nice to speak to one of you about them too and what they are like. they looked great round the track on saturday and sounded just as nice i guess you guys wouldnt go on the track at rallyday due to the extra amount of obstacles about?
