'Look like Corse to me?

John D. will no doubt know the origins, if that's the case?
'Just a guess.
That'll be the original set of Allora moulds that became the Corse project, there are a few later additions but the majority are 1980's vintage.
Ownership of said moulds will be a debatable point as they are part of the on going saga that John & Frederic are aware of.
I suspect that the current holder has no further use for them & would like the space back rather than paying for storage.
I would also add that it doesn't look like they are being stored lovingly either so what state the mould surfaces are in is also questionable.

Yes that's it in a nutshell Craig.
Lionel was supposed to have bought them off Hugh.
They were already with Paul Short at keighley who actually had a few sets of of panels made and were reasonable quality.
They were done somewhere else. Not by Paul himself.
Although not brilliant these moulds actually made better shaped panels than the Tony Favarin/ Centauri moulds which ended up in France. (Another Gooch myth.....)
I'd say Paul is as entitled to sell them as anyone seeing as Lionel owed/still owes him so much money.
That comes from the County Court records. Napiersports debt, subject to a CCJ, is still marked as "unsatisfied".
Like Craig says they don't seem to have been lovingly cared for.
I'd pay a grand for them tomorrow, but no more.
For sure, no particularly good memories for Frederic or myself dealing with these people.
Be advised.
Same again John?

On Mick Covill's ebay shop.
Looks like the Corse moulds from Keighley have made the short trip across to Mick at Blackburn.
That's the second time he's bought something Corse related....
Now the 037 & S4 are looking complete, there's maybe space in the stable for another legend?

It all seems rather bizarre to me to try and sell a Stratos centre tub moulding in an open forum like that. Who on earth is likely to say "Oh yes, just what I needed to finish my project"? It's all so tied into the chassis and other body parts that the actual market for the part can surely only be measured in a handful of people ... most of whom are here or known by those here. The moulds them selves are naturally a different case, but again the number of people who could make successful use of them is very limited.
All rather puzzling.
If these are the moulds that came from Keighley (not a huge amount of doubt here, despite just being told otherwise!) then there were a couple of pre made centre tubs included in the sale. It would make sense to try & recoup some of the mould cost by selling off the surplus stock.

I know one man that could use a centre tub!
But then again if its the original Allora mould then it also has the same crap shape on the offside roof and quater panel. and that is the hassle I already have and want rid of
