So rather than spending time and effort to solve the few niggling issues with my HF2000 I have located a Ferrari v8 and all the running gear from the donor Mondial. It boards the slow boat from Dubai for the USA on the 21st. Wish me luck! Once it lands it will get refreshed and cleaned up before it goes into my Hawk/Transformer. This is what happens when it is hard to find a decent Alfa v6...

It did seem like a bargain price though so would have been very hard to refuse especially with the availability & costs of the Alfa over over there, If you're lucky you may be able to sell on some of the subframe & suspension components to offset the shipping costs.
What are your plans for the induction system?

The plan is to add a throttle body to the current intake manifold and run an ECU tech EMU with crank fired COP ignition. Sell off the CIS and ignition parts if I can. Some day, very long term, I would like to get ITB for this so I can run a Dino style airbox and squeeze out a fraction more sound and fury.
