Thank you for sharing that John. A fine collection indeed.
I was invited to show my 4 Lancia Rally cars at the Amelia Island Concourse D'Elegance this past March and decided to document the journey which began in Ireland in 1978
Please enjoy

Man after my own heart, Irish rally enthusiast, collects rally cars .... great
That was really enjoyable. Thanks for sharing with us. I was really hoping to make the trip down there to see the cars, but I was too busy building my own. I think most people here in the US don't know much about group b and vintage rally in general. However those of us that do, love to see things like this not only at shows but in action.
When you mention in the video the experience which led to rallying Lancias beng burned into the brain, I know exactly where you're coming from. It was the same for me when spectating on Mynydd Epynt with my dad as a small boy. The Escorts sounded nice, but the look and sound of the Stratos at full chat left an indelible memory. Thanks for posting the video.

Same for me.....sometime in the 70's, RAC Rally, Dalby Forest, 2 / 3 o'clock in the morning, freezing cold, wet, getting a bit pithed off..........then my first sight and sound of a Strato's...... All was forgotten as it came screaming past....simply fantastic..... I had the bug....thanks for sharing your experiences John.
