I think I have. I'll check.
I'm looking for the throttle body assy from a 3.0L 24V Alfa if anyone has one in decent condition to sell?
Regards
Paul

I might have one Paul. I'll look.
thanks guys - let me know if you come up with something. I had a bit of a snafu the other night and managed to damage the existing one - it can possibly be repaired but a replacement would be a whole lot easier. Yet another reminder not to work on the car late at night when tired....
(at least I can console myself that a) it's an easily detachable part and b) no hammers were involved)
Is this the one?
that looks very much like an airflow meter to me??
Oh yeah, right errrmm.......I may have one of those too. I'll be back.
I didn't know what that was, but knew it wasn't what I needed!!
Got a 12V - are they significantly different? - fly by wire rather than cable?
The 24 valve version is cable operated - here's a photo of the culprit I damaged:
What happened (and I hate to admit it) is that I mangled the threads on the shaft with the lock-nut holding on the cable pulley when I was changing it out for a smaller pulley that I fabricated (to shorten throttle pedal travel distance). Initially, I thought I'd bring it to a machine shop to repair, but when I started dismantling it to remove the shaft, I had second thoughts about forcing it out of the bearings holding it on each side so decided to see if anyone had a complete unit instead. Worst case, I can probably revert back to the repair idea
