    Fuel tanks

    Does anyone know the thread on the Transformer fuel filler neck circa 1989 ??

    I measured the male thread at ...
    2.117" / 2.120" o/d
    0.098" / 0.100" pitch

    Don't know what I was looking at last week .... must have gone blind or had a senior moment..

    Went to my "Zeus" reference table from when I was an apprentice and went straight to it !

    Tank threads appears to be 1 3/4" BSP

    2.116" o/d
    2.000" core dia
    0.0909" pitch
    11 tpi

    Blimey! Zeus tables! I have a set of those. Very handy for drill sizes for tapping threads. All the Trig stuff was always well beyond me. Well done Phil.
