I contacted the bloke I bought the afm from (two years later) and it was 'No problem, what exactly do you need? and I'll swap them over'
So now I've got the swapped one, plug and play, fitted it to the car Friday, just got to sort out the new filter now. Much bigger diameter, and seems to pick up quicker, idles and runs normally, but I don't suppose I'll now for certain until I get it on the road for a run.
