The V6 in the Brera/159 is the GM motor that's not as well thought of as the Busso motor in the 164. That's is a Cloverleaf and looks like it was quite a nice one. Not so sure about the child seat, belt attached, in the footwell though. That might have hurt. Don't think I want anything to do with the car. Hope everyone got out of it okay.
