Which reminds me, if anyone has one of these, more or less perfect, I can take a mould off it and cast these in rigid "chrome" resin with a nutsert captured inside.
Mould taking process is non destructive so it would come back completely useable!

John, let me know if anyone offers one up. Would happily purchase a couple from you. Was contemplating 3D printing a couple in metal but need one, regardless of condition, to be able to draw from.
Well that's too high tech for me! Keep forgetting these new fangled methods.
Strength ok for printed parts? I thought printing was more for making the prototype? But for something like this maybe the part would be strong enough?
Chris J (ProtoTipo) was advertising a set a little while back. Not sure if he's still got them?
If not, I'm pretty sure I have one available, if I can dig it out. I won't need them for my LB as I'll be using the type supplied by them. From memory it's in near mint condition and there might even be a second, in the same condition.
I don't live far from John so could always get it to him if you wanted him to make you a couple!
Cheers
Richard

It may be me that's got this pair now but if John wants to borrow the best one to prototype a copy from I'm more than happy to lend it out.
Guy
This sounds promising, though I've been talking about doing this stuff for ages. Speak yo you soon Guy.
I can usually find the originals, given time.
Here's some:

How about casting the wing nuts and the wheel as one piece, then blacking the black part in?
Something in cast chrome effect to convert or change the appearance of black reverse lamp bodies would good, if possible?
'Forgot to say;
Guy did get the last pair I had.
Those on ebay are wrongly listed.
'Off an Alfa Montreal, so I think the seller has got his title mixed up with another Alfa type.
If anyone buys, make sure you're getting the item in the photo.
