    eBay Seller Warning

I bought a section of parts from this seller.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/fiat-x1-9-...cAAOSwqMFZnDZu

This was back at the start of June. Three months later he sent one parcel containing some minor parts and has stalled with the remainder of what I paid for. This is now delaying my build. I have an audit trail of messages on my phone with a litany of excuses and apologies and an admission of being lied to continuously.

Deal with this seller in Spalding at your own risk.

The parts he has failed to supply are:

    A pair of headlight nests.
    A pair of door handles.
A pair of B post lock latches
    The rear view mirror mount.
The steering column, ignition lock, key and intermediate shaft.

It's a pity with a bad Ebay seller who has several recent negative evaluations..Did you check that before your order?
If you paid with PayPal you have the ability to open a litigation file for being refunded
    Good luck

Feedback wasn't off-putting when the order was placed. If the litigation isn't started within a month of the end of the auction then eBay won't help (as far as I can tell). I'll look into the PayPal route but I think time is against me on that too.

Dispute resolution started with PayPal.... Not easy to navigate through the channels on eBay and PayPal though...

Parts listed in the first post Chris bar the door handles which I managed to source elsewhere but not in fantastic condition, they can be repainted..

I need the B post catches to finalise door closing before I can trial fit door seals and cut back the flanges to suit. Headlamp assemblies needed so I can progress pod mounting.. Steering column not too worried about but I'll need an intermediate shaft sometime for parts to mod an MGF collapsible one.

Not moved onto the mechanical side of things yet so steering column not important, I'll probably go 124 Sport anyway, less intrusive on the dash.

Been there done that, I've fallen for apologies and excuses to take you past the one month ebay rule.... very irritating.
I demand a refund straight away now, if there is a problem.

    Guy,

    'Just to keep your build going;
You can have those latches you sold me back (at cost). The same with any of those steering inter shafts your sold me too.
I know where there are 3 outer door handles. One I've got one here for certain (chrome). David Jowsey might have a pair going spare, but I wouldn't want to say without checking.
I've got one X1/9 pod, but I bought another to replace it, so it's not the best in the world. I think it's a RH one.

    Me too Struan,

Beta strut parts from Italy. I ended up over £100 out of pocket.

I have a pair of headlight nests one is in very good nick with the protective plating still in replace but has some red overspray on it, the second one is not as tidy and could do with a paint I (it is solid though) . You can have them, please send me your postal address and I will get them off to you.
