Seen Steve Perez come through Twiglees tonight at 18.50, the car sounded grate up in the woods at night as did the Escorts to. Also putting in a good show was the TR7

Steve Perez has finished the Roger Albert Clark rally in 18th O/A.
'Lost about 10 seconds in an early stage today, handing the non Escort lead to Jimmy McRae's V8 Firenza (13th O/A).
Marty McCormack won, from Matthew Robinson and Roger Chilman.
Yorkshire hero, 'Banner' was 6th with hardly a straight panel on the car.
Thanks to all of you who sent messages of support, it's just a pity that we lost the engine so early, we think a cam lobe broke, anyway the whole dry sump system was full of filings so we couldn't fix it even if we had the spares.
We did enjoy the second fastest time on the downhill run at Shelsley Walsh, that brought a few slaps on the back from the BDA boys.
Its such a shame that Adam Milner, with Prototipo's brother on the notes, fell off eventually. He was setting a fearsome pace on the stages and deserved a good result, I'd have been quite happy to have finished second in class to him!
I was a very well supported event both by competitors and spectators, we just need a few more stratos on it to keep Steve Perez company.
As earlier post CJ.... Adam and Roy were very impressive running in a place reserved for the BDG boys !!...... excellent for a 1600cc car
Do you know what sort of power it develops ?.... and who built it for him ?
As JB said ... he deserved a good result
