I’m trying to finalise a report on the French Rallye d’Automne VHC 2017 for Classic Cars magazine. The report will contain a short feature on the Lancia Stratos HF owned and driven in that rally by Patrick Hautot. I believe this to be the car that was driven by Fabrizio Tabaton in the 1980 Sanremo Rally. However Patrick Hautot tells me that he knows nothing of the competition history of his car prior to him acquiring it. Thus it occurred to me that there may be those within your club who would know and, if so, they may also know more about this car’s competition history. If anyone can help me, I’d be most grateful to hear from them as soon as possible as I’m facing a tight copy deadline for this report.
