Gary,
depending on your PCD 5X98 or 5x108? why don't you look for some space savers, it makes loading it on the trailer really easy as well
Hi all,
It looks like I'll be moving house in a couple of months and I'll have to move my part-built Listerbell. I need to fit some wheels so I can roll it onto a trailer. Trouble is I've not progressed much n the last couple of years owing to getting a girlfriend (now fiancee) and am probably a couple of years away from getting it IVA'd. So I would prefer not to spend £££ on brand new tyres when they aren't going to be used in anger for a couple of years.
Options are either beg/borrow/steal some "garage wheels" from someone for say a month
or
fit some old tyres that were fitted to Listerbell alloys, (16" fronts and 17" rears).
Can anyone help me? I won't need them for a couple of months but its best to ask in good time.
Cheers,
Gary

Even if the space savers don't fit over the brakes etc, just turn them round, it's only for maneuvering etc.
The problem would be that the pcd is 5 x 108 and the 166 doesn't have a space saver it carries a full size wheel as a spare.
A wheel spacer and the 166 wheels are the easiest way to go as this this eliminates the issue of the Alfa's small centre bore.

Drill holes in scrap brake discs, for makeshift PCD adapters.
To fit any wheels to hand.

Just had a quick look on ebay, and there are currently 38 space savers 5x108 for sale, example below

Thanks for the replies. I don't relish the hassle and cost of trying to get 4 space savers from 4 different vendors, better to try and get hold of a set of 166 alloys and fashion up some spacers. I should be able to borrow a trailer which is wide enough that width won't be an issue.
Does anynyone have any recommendations for breakers in the South Wales/South West area who are good to deal wth? If not I'll try using one of the dismantler/breaker websites.
