    Electric Stratos?

What do we all think is going to happen to the kit car market past 2040? I'm guessing if no new petrol or diesel cars can be sold then this could apply to new type approval cars such as kit cars going through IVA?
i can't see anyone's going the electric route with complicate systems and safety issues, plus getting hold of the kit, plus the dull driving experience .
is this the death of great sounding petrol and diesel kit cars? That day will come and what a sad day it will be.

No its those vehicles that rely SOLELY on hydrocarbon fuels that will no longer be sold, so hybrids (i.e. Vauxhall Ampera, BMW i3 extender) will still be legal.

Yes I expect this would extend to kit cars using ic engines also as the IVA is low volume type approval.
