Well done on that project. Will be nice to see one competing in Rallycross again.
I think we know the car on here but we all love to see photos and reports on progress.
Hi, I am in the process of rebuilding an ex rally Stratos rep for the British Retro Rallycross championship next year. I will post some pics as car progresses.
It will be powered by turbo VR6 motor, as rallyX rules permit freedom of engines as long as it is a pre 1990 mass produced engine, having the same configuration and number of cylinders as the car's original, and obviously a Dino motor would be prohibitively expensive, and more importantly , not quick enough.

Monoblock V, pioneered by Lancia.
Excellent !... good luck... I look forward to the photo log

Welcome to the club if you need any information just ask we are always happy to help
As a fellow owner of a Corse i I will be taking an interest in what happens with this - What sort of power are you hoping for? These things do have a capability for some huge power numbers.
I hope that some footage of this racing gets onto Youtube. Just make sure clearly described as Litton Corse i - so I can cash in on its success - Just don't fail - All the best.
That's some Turbo isn't it?!?
I can feel a club outing to Lydden coming on!
not sure on BHP yet, Julian Godfrey is doing the engine, and the VR6 is unfamiliar to both of us, but with what we know 450 should be easily achievable for normal use with an extra 50-75 available for short periods. Should be ample, I hope, I know more is possible, but not sure it's needed. More importantly the torque figure should match, or exceed, the BHP figure.
In their day they only had about 275, but then they only had Mk 1 Escorts to beat, suspension and tyre technology has come on in leaps and bounds too, so I am optimistic.
