F40 Donor?

Transverse 308 engine fits the Hawk, of course and original Lancia.

I cant find much info on an ECU or harness for an F40 which this engine would be missing.

does anyone on this forum have a high confidence that an aftermarket option would work or that an f40 ecu could be found at a reasonable (for ferrari) price?

Plenty of aftermarket ECU's that would run this now & probably better than the old one that was fitted to the Ferrari in the first place.
Technology moves on, the F40 engine is quite basic by todays standards but according to the guy who mapped Neil's car "ITB & Boost = Involved" see HERE
There are guys that will build custom motorsport harnesses to suit but it all costs $$$$

Yeah, my personal max was 35k. A few guys waited till the end and pushed it up to 88k (my entire budget for a stratos).

Sadly I hear its going to be a coffee table...

I was really hoping 037Fan was going to get it.

For 88 grand - presumably USD - that's going to be one helluvan expensive coffee table !

Not many years back, there was a dtm Alfa 155 2.5 engine for sale, 20k. That would've been fantastic. Probably want rebuilding regular but that sound and 400+ bhp n/a?!
