    Stratos 3 seater

I’ve a a hyperactive brain, so while I’m bored waiting & the fact I have 2 sons(4&7) has anyone else thought a Stratos could be turned into a 3 seater like the oldish McLaren?
I’m short but not too short but it would need to be a longer wheelbase & use seat similar to

    I know I’m just crazy 😝

    Cheers

Would work. I did think about it a while ago. Water pipes down the sides like the Elise. I think you could do it in the same wheelbase.

The Pulse GT1 uses a 3 seat arrangement and is based around a Stratos screen and roof line.

I suspect that the passengers may have their vision impaired by the A pillars slightly and unless the roof line is raised then headroom against the roll cage could be an issue?
From a drivers perspective then then the central seat would work very well with the screen shape.

Don't mess with your Stratos, just buy yourself the new McLaren Speedtail!

Blimey yes Chris. It's bad enough with two in the normal cockpit.

Thanks for the replies, I’d never heard of the Pulse before looks interesting.
As for on a LB LeMans chassis the cockpit is only about 6cm longer.
I’m not going to do it but curious. I’ve learnt more about Stratos’ in the last 2 years than ever before. Mainly from this forum, thanks guys

    Regards
    Chris

Well I've learned that there are people on here who actually have two friends. Amazing. :-P

There's always a couple of people that want a ride, not necessarily the same thing
