    exhaust tail silencers

    Does anybody know where to get ones like Vince's, now that Simpson Race Exhaust can't supply? Or like Rob's

    I can only find ones like Click image for larger version.

    I bought 2 of these from e bay, but they are sports catalitic convertors,

    Merlin Motorsport are agents for Coast Fabrications (US)
    There's one of their silencers on this single seater:

    What about the well regarded fabricator that Vince used?

    How loud is it?
    I know scrutineering is indoors, but I doubt noise check will be!

    99dBA @ 4000rpm - it gets tested at 4500, and I don't have a clever switch on the tacho to make it over-read, which I understand is de rigeur with modern cars
