John - what's the jubillee clip for? Is it to stop the wire wool coming out, and if so, how?

How loud is it?

99dBA @ 4000rpm - it gets tested at 4500, and I don't have a clever switch on the tacho to make it over-read, which I understand is de rigeur with modern cars

The jubilee clip usually just went round the tailpipe with a couple of strands of wire trapped under it across the opening which held the wire wool inside. Worked on road rallyies, but you only got noise checked at scrutineering in those days...

I always thought it was strange how the jubilee clips always came loose and fell off on the way to the first timed section. ;-)
