--- a chance to practice your TIG skills !
Hi all
I have an inlet plenum from 164 V6 and the guy who previously owned the engine snapped one of the mounting feet off.
Guy saved me by sending me a replacement and now my broken leg is mostly fixed I want to get on and repair this plenum.
Any idea if aluminium casting can be welded and where/whom
Thanks
Steve

I had my inlet plenum welded by my local welder/engineer no problem.
Some castings weld OK, some not. Depends on what stuff there is in the base material.
I can recommend Richard Kimberley Engineering in North Essex
His website is down but he is still very much welding everything....
