    Data Plate....

    Hi chaps,

I'd like to make a data plate for my car with a similar style to that of the original Beta/Strato's chassis number plate, blue print on an aluminium plate.

Does anyone know where I can get this done?

    Right here http://www.ebay.it/itm/TARGHETTA-IDE...5#ht_578wt_689

And probably cheaper than getting one made.

Hmmm - I assumed Vincent knew about the chassis plates Mel was selling and would be amazed if he hadn't already got one.... I assumed a data plate was something different? I have the chassis plate from my donor car somewhere, it's a similar size to the Stratos one but there was also a much smaller oblong plate (letterbox) nailed to the car in the engine bay.

    Re: Data Plate....

Thanks chaps, Guy's correct I've already got a replica Strato's chassis plate from Grumpy, what I want to do now is create my own data plate to add to the door frame which will include specific data about my car.

I'm basically after someone who can take my artwork and print it onto aluminium, I used a local company years ago but they're long gone.

I would think that any decent printer should be able to do it, or point you in the direction of one that could. My ex used to work at a printer in Watford that did it, but they're not there any more sorry.

    Re: Data Plate....

Thanks, I've got a couple of leads for suitable printers now and I'll contact them on Monday.

Cheers for the links Enzo, I like the style of the 2nd one with the Lancia badge, I'll incorporate that style in my design.
