I went with Mark (Redline) in the Zenith Stratos to the RetroRides Weekend yesterday at Goodwood. I'd not been to this event before (and I believe it was only the second time it had been held at Goodwood) and when we arrived were pleasantly surprised to find that we were not the only Stratos replica in attendance. We met up with Mel Lewis and John Rutter in their Hawks and were all guests of the organisers in the Historic Rally cars section. There was an interesting mix of cars at the event from V8 powered retro pick-up trucks to classic minis, drifters and hot-rods. There was an opportunity to do a couple of laps of the circuit - and it was all tightly (and effectively) scheduled. It was an interesting day - but Mark stayed over into the Sunday and can no doubt report further on the Sunday events. A good Club turn-out !
