Ended up with Flux in the end, alarm installed yesterday & insured today. Alarm install was tricky, due to having an isolator in the -ve side, alarm -ve is straight from the battery, but that caused other issues when the isolator was off, all sorted now though & thatcham certificate in hand
Neil, make sure the certificate has the reg number of the car and the name of the installer, AF were very precise with me recently with what they would and would not accept

Certificate has installers acreditation number, reg number of the car, chassis number etc etc, so should be ok

Ps just to keep on thread mine was 210 from Hagarty only driver but same value and miles as Ken. Needs to be your second car and old enough (Reg wise ) I started with them when my car was on the A reg 84 donor year plate and was ok. Clean with them it was the donor year not the chassis and they were ok about that. Later changed to the earlier reg no problem.
Chassis is classed as a classic now too anyway -20years old
