LB STR Stradale body and interior, 3.0ltr 24v Alfa Romeo V6

I assembled the chassis and installed the engine up to a rolling chassis stage when it went back to the factory for the body panels to be dry fitted. On return I had the car painted Ferrari Rosso Corsa 300/12 and assembled the exterior components and lights. Due to an impending house move (and temporary loss of garage) the car was returned back to the factory for final assembly of the interior, completion of electrical work and preparation for IVA testing which it passed first time on 13 September 2017. The car was registered 1 November 2017.

Lizzy (as she is known) is fitted with an Alfa Romeo V6 3.0ltr engine sourced from a 2000MY Alfa GTV rebuilt and detailed by the Alfa specialist ‘A for Alfa’ and balanced by Vibration Free. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox fitted with Quaife LSD via a 3.2 clutch and flywheel. The car is RHD and is fitted with air conditioning. The Stradale interior is trimmed in Alcantara, beige seats and red carpets. Three point inertia reel seat belts are fitted (4 point mountings are on the bulkhead).

The X19 door handles and interior release for the rear canopy have been refurbished and now use one key. The canopy over center latches were powder coated and fitted with new springs and pivots. The only non LB items are tow eyes front and rear, wheel arch spats and a drivers side sunvisor. The rest of the car is pure LB.

The car has completed approximately 2000 dry miles (except for getting caught out once).

I have all the build documentation and plenty of photographs.
Registered as a new car, no MOT is currently required.

    Price £69,000

Gordon, every time I've seen your car I've been amazed at the attention to detail and quality of build. And it's never anything less that totally immaculate, effectively a new car! Do they not allow dirt in Buxton?? Gotta be worth every penny of what you're asking, in fact more considering the waiting list for a new LB turnkey car. Just a shame you have to sell it (her?) but I understand why (for others reading this, we chatted over the sale a few weeks ago, in my role as chairman). Good luck with it...somebody's gonna be a happy chappy, that's for sure

That's a fantastic looking car. It's gonna be a great buy for some lucky beggar.
Pity you have to sell but I doubt that will hang around for long.

That's a shame to let it go Gordon but cars are not everything in life are they? Can only Echo what's been said. An immaculate car in every sense. Good luck with the sale.

Sorry to hear that you've made the decision to sell - I'm sure the decision wasn't made lightly!
I think the car represents fantastic value for money at that price, where else would you find a kit built to such an excellent standard? (without a long, long waiting list anyway!!)

Good luck with the sale. If you don't get any interest through the forum I would definitely recommend advertising it on Car and Classic and you'll probably find it sells very quickly indeed. If you do put the ad up on C&C I will share it on other social media (Facebook etc) for you, as it was actually via Facebook promotion that I sold the Alitalia Hawk a couple of years ago.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Yes it has taken me a while to come to terms with my final decision.
