    Consecutive Number Plates

A lot of you know that my donor car had a plate one after the Beta that I was running at the time I was building back in the late 80s/90s and that I managed to retain it during the IVA exemption. Some of you may even know that Peter Ashdown built a Dino engined Stradale with the plate that preceded my two. PFY1T, 2T and 3T all out there at one time.

Okay, this is close but probably almost as remarkable! At the time I was building Austin Smith was too and his car also retained it’s donor plate (via Bob Pilott at Courtney Garage) of TRN226X. Our own GTMPaul owns this car now and, like mine, it’s converted to LHD and replicates another livery work by TOM54374.

Okay, I’ll get to the point. I just spotted TRN228X for sale on eBay. Amazing it’s still extant! But only just! Guess Paul should buy it?

    no connection to the seller!
