I am new to this forum, but not new to Stratos re-creations, I have been scheming to do a build since talking to Gerry Hawkridge at a show not long after the 1987 hurricane when he sighted the strength of their chassis after a tree fell on one at their facility without any distortion resulting.
So following on this thread (and I am sure this has been asked before) but I have been looking for circa 2004 - 2005 3.2 Alfa GT donar car on the basis I believe it is the most recent Busso unit. Is my assumption that such a unit would be the best engine vs this 3.0 unit to use correct - or am I labouring under a misapprehension. I would probably keep the engine ostensibly standard, at least for the initial build and commissioning. Any thoughts or direction to previous threads would be much appreciated. Many thanks :-)
