    Ronde Cévenole 1973

    Some very rare cars on this event. Simca CG, Ford GT70, a works Stratos (at 14 minutes) and then some really common A110s:

    Mmmmmmm....
    Stratos at 14 mins was car No 1
    Stratos at 18 mins was car No 5

    I think it might have been pre coffin spokes. It's got non arc-ing door windows. As in, rising and lowering in the door in a normal way.
    No. 1 and No. 5 are the same car. As you say, what the story is behind that, is anybody's guess?

    yes definitely the same car... from the photo's some of the minor stickers vary....
    Looks like the bent rear end is the reason for his retirement.... but that was car No1 .....

    Was this the independent double wishbone rear suspension which got abandoned for being too fragile?!
