I wanted to be first, I hadn't even watched it all the way through! But I see it's already been posted in the engine section, maybe next time.

Sorry guys I posted it in the Alfa engine section and probably should have posted it in the video section and didn't know how to change it. Probably better here.

BMA 631S... that used to be my HPE 2000, which I bought in 1984. Sold it to a work colleague who then passed it on to Dave Atkinson, another pal, who used it as donor for his Transformer in '88. He later installed an Alfa V6, hence the Busso decal

    Well, I didn't know that?!

There is no Busso decal on the car Norm, I just PhotoShopped it. I put a slight blur on it, to make it look like its surroundings.

Steve Major from nr. Hull got the car after Dave A. Steve sold it a few years ago, I don't know where it is now?

Chris, your Photoshopping skills are obviously top notch... I thought the current owner had added the decal after getting one from you, but apparently not!

Just been talking to Dave today funnily enough, and he said he'd heard the car had been sold on, but he doesn't know who to. Seems quite a few cars being sold nowadays are being bought by people who've no interest in joining the club so it may be we never hear from them again (until they want to sell, then we might get some sort of contact).

Out of interest, Dave's current project is a Motorsport S1 Exige that uses a turbo'ed Audi motor producing approx. 400bhp. It's currently on Pistonheads as "Car of the Week" or similar if anyone fancies a look.

    Sorry for the thread hijack!

Some folks are very private I guess, so they are never going to join a club. It's always been the case. When the club were putting the registers together it was impossible to come up with a register which reflected the claimed production figures.
How many are on there? 1 in 5? And not all the owners of those cars are in the club. Not that you have to have one to be a member of course. We are an enthusiasts club after all.
Clubs which call themselves "owners" clubs are making themselves even more exclusive.
