It's neither, and it's not a car colour.
Alan asked the paint mixers to scan some orange plastic household appliance he brought along.
I can't remember what it was?
Having seen Alan's car in the flesh, I'd say Lotus Chrome Orange is pretty similar, as actual car colours go.
It's even a lighter orange than the car I had, and that's saying something.
'Better still, would be:
Alfa 'Arancio 601', because it was both a Miura and Montreal colour, and you can't get more Bertone than that?

Thanks for that.
The Miura was included in my minds eye of the colour, but had not realised the Montreal had that colour too.
I'm not au fait with the fibreglass/gel coat thing and wonder could it be a gel coat?
I'm not 100% on this, but I think it can be mixed like paint. If you look at the RAL Design range, it is far more comprehensive than the RAL classic colour range. You should be able to find an Orange you like from there. https://www.e-paint.co.uk/ral_design...s.asp?Design=2
