Pete - and any other members who might think I'm some sort of literary philistine - yes, I know Jonathan Swift wrote Gulliver's Wotsits, but I'd moved on to puns around classical authors (as in, "own downfall"). And to prove it, I also know that Great Expectations was written by someone waiting for their kit. So there.
