Haha. I've swithered about going in the Utima for the past few years. They get a big group attending. There's a hardcore group of about 6 of us owners up here who do meet up a few times every year for breakfast runs and I can cope with "localish" runs in it but have always found an excuse to drop out of the longer trips. I did take it down to Stoneleigh one year in a 6 car convoy and also slept in a tent next to it for that weekend then drove home. I think it took me over a week to be able to stand up straight after that.
A 450 mile jaunt down the road in the STR is bound to be luxury in comparison.

Jim, I understand the fear of the long-distance trip in the less-than-luxurious car. Been there and done that meself...probably explains the Quasimodo-like posture I adopt from time to time. Not started climbing church bell towers at night though. ...yet....

Quick question - if we have bought a club displey package , but don't have a finished car to exhibit yet , can we still use the parking pass to park midfield ?
About ten years+ ago, the organisers really tightened up the club areas.
Only club cars are now allowed.
Back in the day, John and Carol Butterfield's motorhome was the hub of the SEC stand, but the organisers wouldn't even allow that.
