Very interesting, a replica of an FSO Polonez that was used to re-home the running gear from an original Stratos, driven by Andrzej Jaroszewicz that crashed (and was totalled) on the 1978 Poland Rally. Looks really good
The Stratopolonez was before its time, when you think about similar cars that were to come? (6R4, T16 etc. 6R4 mostly)

It just seemed such a bonkers thing to do at the time. Great ingenuity.
That's an interesting project you have there, Its impressive. The LB that I am currently building is going to end up in the polish colours, Red/ white roof etc.. never have managed to find that much out about those cars. so I am intrigued.
Keep up the good work.

Seems the Polish Department of Sport bought three Stratos. Wasnt Andrzej Jaroszewicz's father the prime minister at the time?
It is one of three Lancia Stratos, purchased in 1976 by the Department of SportFSOOBRSO. There were two Lancia Stratos rally, and one Stradale. These cars drove Andrzej Jaroszewicz, who previously drove a Fiat Abarth 124 Spider.
