    Thank you

Having spent a very useful day at Lister Bell yesterday I would like to thank Craig, Lydia and excellent team for the work carried out on my car yesterday. It was a long trek, taking my car up to the Farm but completely worthwhile.

There were numerous tweaks, adjustments and one or two corrections which have served to give me more confidence in the quality of the car that I have built and to some degree in my own build abilities . I now know that the car goes acceptably fast (and I have a calibrated speedo that proves it!) and that we are just about IVA ready - albeit with one or two things that I need to do first.

Thanks Craig and Lydia - and team

If anybody is in any doubt, and if you are in the market for one - Buy a Lister Bell Stratos.

    Peter Cutler

PS thanks also to Mark (redline) who accompanied me and helped to load and unload the trailer.

    Re: Thank you

Good news Pete, and something of a relief too I'd imagine. I'm always impressed by LB meself, as they always seem willing to help (I'd say "they go the extra mile" but it's a daft expression - having gone the extra mile, you never hear of anyone coming back again...) When's your IVA? That'll be another one on the road soon!

Great news Peter! - It sounds as though you'll soon be terrorising the roads of Arundel.

Excellent Peter, you’re really lucky to be able to get your car back to the mother ship so easily. I’m scared to do over 30 in mine, being aware of my own abilities!

I’ve had nothing but excellent help and quick responses to any questions I’ve had during the build and after I got the car on the road, it’s the first thing I tell people when they ask about building one themselves.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys - IVA being applied for shortly - but dont know what the lead-time is currently. I'm sure it will be enough to do the "need to do's " if not the "nice to do's" .

Just leave a 50 under the sun visor, you shouldn’t have any trouble at all.

Ah is that how its done, my son in law bought a 'new' car for himself recently, and found a £50 note tucked into the Sun Visor, he thought he had been given a discount.!!
