Indeed, just making the point that they aren’t pollution free at the point of use unless operated properly…and as we know, no plant operator ever has skimped on servicing etc…

Very lean isn’t ideal for NOx though is it? want’s to be at stoichiometric so the CAT can work properly I thought.

The shocking efficiency penalty might be worth paying in some situations, but the complaints about batteries being inflationary can equally be made about introducing a horribly inefficient alternative fuel…that’ll be expensive. Even if we had the cheap green electricity and H2 production infrastructure, unless the power is free, it’ll still cost more to use H2 than running batteries.

Ultimately, you can’t expect the turkey to vote for xmas can you. JCB rely on ICE, they’ll do anything to keep it.
