Yes, the clam catches are in hand. Treasurer Mark was dealing with the engineering company who've been looking at remanufacturing them for us, but he's been very ill and so it's on hold for now, but as soon as we have something to tell you, we will.

Norm, I told you to leave that note on the table:- "Back in ten minutes" !!!! Psychologically, Dave would not have felt so lonely then.

Well I hope its not the end of the Stoneleigh show Guy!
I think the first time I visited would have been about 1989?

At the same time, some of those parts may be of interest to Stratos kit builders.
Having said that, the popularity of OE parts is in decline, as far as kit builders goes.
So how many Hawk manufactured parts are there on the 'Hawk HF2400'?
    I'm presuming body?

John, without wishing to be pedantic, when you say HF2400, do you mean the latest steel centre tub variant? or the earlier Hawk fitted with the Dino motor?

The current steel tub car under construction and displayed at Stoneleigh is, I believe, being dubbed as the Hawk HF2400.

Gerry is planning on remaking the non Fiat Parts Bin components of the car. There's little point in re-inventing the wheel unnecessarily. So, tub and all suspension components are remade except shock absorbers (available from Gaz) and the front stub axle. He's tooled up for the rubber cones for the rear chassis for example as well as rear hub carriers. Steering rack is under review for remanufacture I think. Fuel tanks are being remade. Front louvre panels to correct pattern too. Standard Hawk bodywork and screens of course bar the steel tub obviously. There is already a myriad of other components redone such as accurate radiators, fans and shrouds not previously available anywhere. Research and sourcing is ongoing and won't be finalised until the first cars are completed. This show was probably too early to launch a halo project like this and was probably also the wrong show. The February rally show at Stoneleigh is the one to watch if the car is finished by then. Although I suspect it'll appear without the front and rear clips.

The Wikipaedia that is Prototipo tells me that the racks for the original Stratos were unique to it and made by Cam Gears (later TRW Cam Gears) in Wales; Gerry tells me he is using these for the HF2400, but still uses the Herald/Spitfire rack on his other models.
