    This is quite shocking actually

Since Early June I have been doing quite a lot of miles on motorways.
I know I cleaned the seal area around the roof opening of the Z4 around the time I started these journeys.
Today I had the roof down and touched the black panel and was quite shocked.............................................

Yeah that's what we are all breathing in when we drive in traffic - until we are all electric of course !

I'm surrounded on all sides by farmers harvesting their wheat and barley at the moment and the air is thick with the dust from that. Windows closed, washing inside but enough yuk drifting around that you can taste it. I imagine the barley must taste better when it's fermented.

A lot of that crap will be dust from brakes and tyres, not to mention stuff blown in from the surrounding land, and is really no different from what you see when you change your air filter. I always give the exposed parts on the Boxster a wipe over every so often to stop them changing colour
