Allora - no idea at the moment
And finally, no idea on the 7th car! Need to see a bit more!
David Evans was recently given these old 35mm photos, which (by chance) were included with a Stratos book he recently bought.
The photos are from Graham Bates, and show cars from the late 1980s and very early 1990s.
David passed the photos to me, with the idea of scanning/archiving them.
Here's a couple that I have already scanned for starters. There are a good few:
'See if Guy (or someone?) can name the six cars in a row?
The three cars together are, left to right:
• Gerry's group 4 Volumex Hawk demonstrator
• Phil Jordan's 2.5 12v 155 engined round arch Hawk
• Graham Bates 2.4 Ferrari Dino engined round arch Marlboro Hawk

The red Stradale parked next to Guy's car is Neil's Corse S replica.

All I can say is, Strat owners musta been a lot slimmer back when those photos were taken - how they levered themselves out of the cars in that second pic is beyond me! Unless they were covered in used engine oil??
In a field behind a tea house Chris.
I plead senility. Buggered if I can remember back that far - I'm guessing it's 1992 or 93 from the rally plaque and door sticker from the Mitsubishi Classic Marathon. Adrian Jackson and I did 2 days of that event but Ian Gear went to the end with them so it's likely to have been 1993 before the cars got together again.
Crap. That's 28 years ago! Fricking twenty eight years. It's probably mentioned in the Bible. Old Testament. Shit, I've got nieces younger than that.
Thanks for making feel my age Chris.
- wonder if we'll be able to drive our petrol cars in another 28 years time! (well I wont be around but hopefully my car will be )
Some more 35mm photos that I have just scanned from the GB Engineering archive.
Thanks again to Dave Evans for saving these.
The photo of the Beta exhaust is Vince's Hawk
The car on the trailer behind the van is Graham's Dino engined Hawk
The red Hawk rally car I used to own, but here it is with its first owner/builder - Martin Kit. I can see Phil Jordan in these photos.
The yellow car is not a replica. It was owned by Ian Giles and restored recently by Alfaholics, who painted it lime green at the same time.
