It's good that your interest in this type of car hasn't diminished Guy?

    Re: Graham Bates Photos

Some more 35mm photos that I have just scanned from the GB Engineering archive.
Thanks again to Dave Evans for saving these.

The photo of the Beta exhaust is Vince's Hawk
The car on the trailer behind the van is Graham's Dino engined Hawk
The red Hawk rally car I used to own, but here it is with its first owner/builder - Martin Kit. I can see Phil Jordan in these photos.
The yellow car is not a replica. It was owned by Ian Giles and restored recently by Alfaholics, who painted it lime green at the same time.

    Re: Graham Bates Photos

Thanks for posting these photos Chris, takes me back to my youth!

The first picture you posted at the tea shop I think was somewhere near Chichester, I recognised my then girlfriend ( now wife ) walking behind the cars.

The later picture outside GB's workshop my part build is parked next to yours, I was having a new pedal box installed.

Good memories. Shame Graham has shut up shop recently, but we are all getting on a bit now!

    Cheers,
    Chris
