That seemed like a great venue and again, good LB positive publicity and love.

Yeah, Richard's. Who else's would it be...you know what a publicity-seeking tart he is

Actually, it was a good do. Plenty of room to get round the cars, definitely not crowded despite there being lota of people there, and some genuinely interesting stuff. Few too many Suzuki Jimnys for me, though. And it was good that a few manufacturers had low-key displays too - Ineos' new Grenadier was cool, ditto the Alpine stand with two examples, also the off-road Morgan, and Bentley brought along its Le Mans car and one of the new continuation thingies. So thumbs up to them for attending and supporting a fairly low-key event. Must say, though, I did like the look of the MST Mk 1 Escort that was actually a brand-new car with a 71 reg. Bubble arches, Minilites, BDG motor....mmmmm.... proper old-skool but new. Now if only someone would do that with a Stratos....

Ask Gerry about his new tin car.... No price list yet. First 2 under build to cost them.

I already asked him, at Stoneleigh But what I meant was, a fully-built thingy with all new parts including motor, box, and that - where would you get a new Dino motor?
The MST Escorts start at £85k. Got a feeling the tin Hawk will come in a wee bit more than that....

Yeah, I was off in the background, closely studying the inside of Richard's wallet and being amazed that anyone could have that much dosh.
