Presumably 'mechanical problems' means there was no interior/ glass / anything else useful left!

Shame for Jerry.. I saw video footage of the car on test a few weeks ago and it was literally flying !...
On the RAC he had engine electric issues prior to the fire which put him down on performance for the first stages... then it appears a high pressure fuel leak onto the coil... He sent 1 photo of the blaze from inside the car just before they managed to stop.. Hairy to say the least !..main thing is that Jerry and Sinclair are both ok
Adam Milner and Roy Jarvis were going well last time I looked.
