    Thanks John,
Andrew Dearing, that's the name I was trying to remember.
Did Bernard Rooney have that car too? I thought Bernard's car was a Honda engined Corse I?
Maybe he had more than one Corse?

The Andrew Dearing car (in the TV prog) is a Corse S.

    Hi Tom,
There was much discussion about it on the old Stratos forum, at the time.
When I saw the photo of Andrew Dearing's rally car listed on eBay, it jogged my memory about its appearance in 'Phoo Action'.

It was based on a cartoon strip by Jamie Hewlett of 'Gorillaz' fame.
Obviously they unbolted the door bars, so that Jamie Winston could get out easier.

Yes Bernard Rooney had more than one Corse in his time.
He did, I think I'm right in saying, some rounds of the Scottish tarmac championship with Hugh Carson in the Honda engined car. Not sure what happened to that car. Craig will likely know.
Then years later he bought Andrew Dearings car and did a few upgrades but I believe it was sold to Ireland not too long after.

Some would say that Bernard had 3 Corse' over the years but he actually only took possession of 2.

Was there a dark blue one with a Ferrari 308 engine?

The Honda engined car at a Cadwell single venue rally (older thread on this forum)
