You'd need to modify. My 12v engines have two main feeds to the radiator at the cam end but the pictures seem to show only one on the cam end and one on the flywheel end?

If you don't want to move the return flow from the radiator then just take these 3 parts from the old engine and it's done!

    Hi Enzo
    All great thanks.
Just figuring out how to revise the piping to both radiator connections on the RHS plus the flow and return to a water cooled base for the oil filter and the heater connection at the gearbox end.

    Regards
    Steve

    Hi all
I have been looking at the engine from Enzo.
My 12v 6v in a Corse has both pipe connections from the engine to the radiator at the cambelt end of the engine.
The engine from Enzo has a single radiator connection at the cambelt end and steel pipe sitting in the V running to the flywheel end.

I want to remove the component sitting on the top of the water pump that has the steel pipe and fit what looks to be item 9 above.
I would rather not mess with the thermostat and gaskets on my QV engine if I can avoid it.
Does anyone know what that is called and where I might get one.

    Thanks
    Steve

I think part 9 is a gasket? And I think that the diagram is for a non 164 motor? Maybe a 75?

Right, the water pump has a casting that sits on top of it with an outlet pointing to the right of the cam wheels. On top of that is a sandwich plate with the temperature sensors/senders in it and another casting with an outlet, also pointing right, holding the thermostat.

I suspect that I have these components spare but.... We're moving house in 3 weeks and everything is either packed in storage or still in the garage buried behind stuff packed ready to move. If nobody steps forward I'll probably be able to find it in a month....

    Guy
Thanks - the bit above 9 then. It appears the one fitted to the Enzo engine has an outlet pipe at the rear that passes though the V under the chrome inlet pipes.
Enzo was sure it was a 164,but maybe you are right that it is something else.
Good luck with your move and I am in no screaming hurry.

    Regards
    Steve
