Staying logged in

I keep getting automatically logged out of the site, is there a way of staying logged in?

Chris, there's an "inactivity timer" that logs you off after a certain period with no, er, activity. Can't remember how long it is offhand tho. I've sometimes found myself logged out while composing a lengthy reply to a thread, or a new one, so might it be that?

That sounds as if it's the culprit; I wonder if I can amend at my end.

I think it's more likely to be at the host server end - if it was something a user could modify, that'd be self-defeating
