If so they're a bit more than that....they seem to be coming into their own now, having been somewhat ahead of their time, and there's something of a following building up. Leah's son has had one since last June and it's a really interesting thing. An electric conversion on that would make a lot of sense - it's never gonna rust as there are very few steel parts in it...

Karmann Ghia? Well even if he does a Clive Sinclair and uses the motor from an old Hoover, it'll be faster than the lump it came with
