Matt - it is, as you say, a long shot but these things do occasionally surface, so ya never know.... does it have to be a stalled project or would a complete car do the trick? Not that they're any more thick on the ground, but at least it expands your base!
I've said it before, I imagine almost everyone's car is for sale for the right offer.
