Paddy Hopkirk was a member and strong supporter of Ecurie Cod Fillet, that odd association of people in motorsport, particularly Rallies of the late 1950’s, 60, & 70’s who brought motorsport to the attention of the masses at that time. My wife, Carol has also been a member from the mid 60’s, and it has been our great priveledge & pleasure to have known and been in Paddy’s company at ECF & BMC gatherings.

When we heard on Friday via ECF that Paddy had passed away, we found it very difficult to comprehend.

Paddy was a true gentleman of all things Motosport. He will sadly, be greatly missed.
