The only Lancia I have ever driven.
The only Lancia I have ever driven.
View of the car park, with some Lancia?s just for Chris.
"Why make it easy when you can struggle"
More Carpark and paddock views, and how about that number plate Norman?
That skeletal car is a GN, recently built but a replica of !921-29 model, but is eligible to compete because it is constructed to original ?Fag Packet? drawings, but that?s it, no floor or bodywork, lots of wizzing chains and odd peddle positions. Fancy driving that in anger chaps.!!!!
The Twin cylinder engine is again on a GN, oil and dirt everywhere, no engine cover. I think it may have trouble in an IVA !!!
The exposed engine?s in the yellow car and its neighbours, are 8ltr Curtis aircraft engines of the Edwardian Era, if any of you can remember that?
"Why make it easy when you can struggle"
According to John D., I can.
Curtiss V8 aero engines are a popular fitment for Edwardians.
The 4 valve V twin engine is in 'Spider 1'
The J.A.P. engined car is one of the Hardy Specials. I don't know which, but the later Hardy Specials were mid engined J.A.P.
Yes Robin, health & Safety hadn't been invented yet.
I'm assuming the number plate in question is BFG 1.....but I'm deeply hurt that you think I'm a Big Fat Git.![]()
