Hi Peter, overall length should be 34.5 or 35cm give or take! Shaft diameter probably not important. That's it I think!

I think your friend is in luck. Attached pic 35cm long with UJs. I think this is the thinner one from my donor, I remember having to scrabble around to find the thicker one to fit the Hawk bearing. Your friend can have it for the costs of postage (small parcel). PM me their contact details if they want it.
