As an aforementioned jet-setter (not on the same level as Annalisa tho), it was great to see such a good turn-out and all the Strats, and to catch up with peeps. My only regret was just prior to leaving when I discovered a full-size apple pie hiding under a tin of biccies - but, there was no custard, no dishes, and no knife to cut it, so I suspect it was there to illustrate Phil's high-status lifestyle rather than for any plebs to eat...
Reason for the Austin Powers Shaguar was basically cos it was P'ing down earlier, plus we just couldn't be bothered Stratting and fancied something cosseting, and also cos I'd never been in an XK8 before. Very pleasant actually, but no sports job. Which is basically what they say about me too.
Big Ta to Phil for hosting another great garage day! Won't be long till there are more at his do than attend the AGM....and no, I'm not kidding

I just believe in setting an example, is all :-P
Phil, thanks so much for hosting another fantastic garage day. The weather was kind when we were chatting and ogling the great turnout of Strats.
Your build is progressing well and always more than a little envious of your garage setup. Whoever says size isn't important hasn't built a couple of kit cars in single garages!
Seeing all of the completed cars has given me a real boost and thanks in particular to Dave and Neil for allowing me to crawl all over their cars and answering my many questions.
Cheers again Phil
