Hi all
I’ll be a bit late as the boat I wanted is not running.
I hope the 9am boats not held up by the weather!
Save a place please.
Ian
It was good to meet some of the Southern contingent : Ian Gear (IOW stratos), Jon Evans (JJ990) and Chris Deering (STR4705) and a good turnout of 3 cars . Paul Burgess (PAB56) travelled to the event with me. The event itself was surprisingly well attended considering it rained for the first 2-3 hours - and we could not park on the sloping field so the hard-standing at the entrance area got a bit crowded - even for thos who ignored the parking restriction ! Later in the morning a lovely fabric-bodied 1928 Lancia Lambda turned up with petrol feed problems but the owner didnt seem too fazed by it.

Rare to see a Lambda that's not had the top chopped off!
Monocoque construction, monoblock V4 and sliding pillar suspension.
The only Lancia I've ever driven.
Sorry I was not able to make it, last minute family commitment put an end to the plan
